At the time of rental, a hold will be placed on your card of the rental amount or $200 ($100 for debit cards), whichever is greater. Debit cards may not be accepted for this hold at all Avis locations. If you cancel the reservation more than 6 hours in advance, you’ll be charged a cancellation fee of $25.
